RELACIÓN ENTRE ESTRÉS ACADÉMICO, ANSIEDAD Y RENDIMIENTO ESTUDIANTIL EN UNIVERSITARIOS POSTPANDEMIA

Resumen

El estrés académico y la ansiedad son problemas de salud mental que impactan de forma muy importante en los estudiantes universitarios, y su situación se ha intensificado en el contexto emular el post-pandemia, repercutiendo en el rendimiento académico. En el presente trabajo, el problema de investigación se encuentra en el estudio de la relación existente entre el estrés académico, la ansiedad y el desempeño académico de los estudiantes universitarios en el contexto del post-pandemia. El objetivo del mismo fue analizar la evidencia científica publicada entre 2021 y 2026 que estudiara esta relación y los factores asociados, los instrumentos de evaluación y las estrategias de intervención. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sistematizada con enfoque cualitativo y centrado en lo integrador, siguiendo la declaración PRISMA 2020. La búsqueda se llevó a cabo en las bases de datos PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, Frontiers, MDPI y SciELO, cumpliendo los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos previamente. Los resultados evidencian la existencia de una relación inversamente consistente entre el estrés académico y la ansiedad y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y la existencia de la sobrecarga académica, los problemas económicos y la escasa percepción del apoyo social como los principales factores de riesgo. Se concluye que el fortalecimiento de los programas institucionales de apoyo psicológico, la promoción de la salud mental y las estrategias de afrontamiento son una buena opción para disminuir el estrés y la ansiedad y mejorar el rendimiento académico en estudiantes universitarios emular post-pandemia.
